Roger has also served as the Vice President of Telecommunications for the Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT) - the world's largest exchange. During his 12 years there, Roger oversaw planning, implementation, and operation of the CBOT's continually evolving voice communications.
What's more, Roger was responsible for the successful development and implementation of CBOT's move to a new trading floor, which relied on the seamless transfer of more than 5,000 phones and 10,000 lines.
Roger learned the telecommunications business from inside out, starting his career as an engineer with Southwestern Bell, now SBC.
He also served as the director of network engineering for the Continental Airlines family of carriers. During this time, Roger was responsible for system engineering as well as hardware and software development for the nationwide voice and data network that required unparalleled 24-hour reliability.
Even as President and CEO, Roger remains actively involved in the day-to-day analysis, recommendations and execution that go hand-in-hand with every Quantum Crossings project. After all, working with clients to discover and adopt new solutions is what Roger loves best.
