Clark Burrus is Vice Chairman of First Chicago Capital Markets, Inc., (Retired) a wholly owned subsidiary of First Chicago, NVD Corporation and co-head of the Public Banking Department. Mr. Burrus has an extensive record of service in the private and public sectors. He served for four Chicago Mayors. He was named City Comptroller by the late Mayor Richard J. Daley. As Chief Fiscal Officer for the City, the City Comptroller headed the Department of Finance, which included the offices of City Comptroller, City Treasurer and Department of Revenue. He has served on the Chicago Transit Authority's Board of Trustees, the Regional Transportation Authority, the Chicago Board of Education, and trustee of five public pension funds. Mr. Burrus serves on many boards and commissions and has published numerous articles on finance in domestic and international publications.
